Our work included the renovation and expansion of the reception area, modernising cabins and gazebos, as well as upgrading roads and infrastructure throughout the park. The mock up hotel room for refurbishment in The Grand Chancellor Palm Cove involved designing and constructing two distinct style mock-up rooms for presentation to the hotel’s board. This was a crucial step in securing approval for a full-scale hotel renovation. Our team worked closely with the client to bring their vision to life, creating two unique room designs that showcased potential upgrades to the hotel’s aesthetic and functionality. The mock-ups provided a tangible preview of the proposed changes, helping the board make informed decisions for the future of the hotel.

The Cape Tribulation Insurance Rebuild project involved restoring a cabin for a not-for-profit organisation after it was destroyed by fire. The rebuild required an exact replica of the original, using the same materials, timber species, and design as the other cabins built 30 years ago. This project holds special significance, as these cabins are a favourite stay for renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough when he visits the region. With careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, we helped restore an iconic part of Cape Tribulation’s heritage.

The Lake Barrine Boardwalk Project involved the design and construction of a new boardwalk to improve visitor access and experience at this beautiful natural site. The boardwalk now offers an inviting route to explore the stunning views and natural beauty of Lake Barrine.

The Port Douglas Mountain Bike Pump Track project for Contour Works involved the design and construction of a dynamic new mountain bike trail, known as a pump track, in the heart of Port Douglas. This exciting development provides a safe, fun, and challenging environment for riders of all skill levels. The track features a series of rollers, berms, and smooth turns, designed to enhance the rider’s flow and control. It’s an innovative addition to the region, offering locals and visitors a fantastic recreational space while promoting an active outdoor lifestyle.
